The Liminal Sanctuary: A Somatic Sound & Healing Journey
Caregiving is an act of devotion, a sacred offering of love—but too often, it comes at the cost of our own well-being. Over time, the weight of constant responsibility, hypervigilance, and exhaustion can keep the nervous system stuck in survival mode, making deep rest feel impossible.
The Liminal Sanctuary is a space of transition—an in-between place where the warrior can finally lay down their armor, exhale, and step into restoration.
Through the power of sound healing, guided meditation, and somatic bodywork, we invite your body and mind into a profound state of nervous system repatterning—helping you shift from fight-or-flight into deep rest, repair, and renewal.
A Ceremony of Stillness & Healing
This journey will include:
🔹 Sacred Sound Healing – The vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls and crystal bowls create a concert of the soul, shifting brainwaves from beta (active thinking) to alpha (relaxed awareness), theta (meditative state), and delta (deep cellular healing). These frequencies help dissolve tension, restore energetic balance, and create a state of profound relaxation.
🔹 Somatic Meditation & Gentle Bodywork – Trauma is not just stored in the mind; it lives in the body. Through guided breathwork, visualization, and therapeutic touch, we help your nervous system transition into the parasympathetic state—the place where true healing occurs.
🔹 The Sacred Unwinding – Within this liminal space, doing nothing becomes everything. Here, the body is given the permission it has long been denied—to release, repair, and remember its own wisdom.
Why the Liminal Sanctuary?
In trauma healing, liminality is essential—because true transformation does not happen in an instant, but in the space between.
The liminal space is:
✨ The moment between inhale and exhale.
✨ The stillness between thoughts.
✨ The pause between who you were and who you are becoming.
This sanctuary is for those who feel stuck between past and future, between tension and release, between exhaustion and healing. It is a refuge for caregivers, warriors, and those who have forgotten what deep rest feels like.
Here, in this sacred space, you are not asked to fight or to strive—you are only asked to surrender to the healing already waiting within you.
Welcome to the Liminal Sanctuary.
How does music heal? In short, by eliciting resonance in the body-mind.
Music directly vibrates cellular receptors, each of which operates an ion channel or controls a cellular signal. Thus, you “hear” music with every cell of the body. As you are a field of information and energy, your receptors “hear” in the same frequency range as your ears, 20-2000 Hertz. Your receptors resonate with harmonics of the eliciting musical frequencies. - Pert, Candace Ph.D. Molecules of Emotion.
Musicians have known this and have used these frequencies in very famous songs that we know and love. A perfect example of this is the song Imagine by John Lennon. It was written in a 528 Hz tone, which is the miracle healing tone of love and compassion.
